These questions are for those who have recently purchased a EX58-UD4P motherboard.
1 - Where did you buy it and what version of BIOS did your motherboard come with from the retailer.
I want to get a D0 step i7 920 and this motherboard and I don't want to run into BIOS revision problems!
2 - A recent review here on TweakTown for this motherboard says that it doesn't have any eSATA support. It's my understanding that this board comes with and adapter for two eSATA devices. Who's right?
Edit Update: May 16, 2009 10:55 am Local,
I asked this question in another forum and the response I received from someone who asked GIGABYTE this was:
If you purchased a current inventory retail boxed GA-EX58 series model motherboard, the BIOS should already be updated for the D0 stepping processor. If not, you will need to use the older C0 stepping processor to boot and update the processor before installing the D0 stepping.
So you can see my confusion!
