Everyone that needs fan control working should keep putting in support tickets with GiB until they get it fixed.
I don't use the fan headers any more myself but I remember how aggravating it is to control them.

Hey boondocks!

I now send a ticket to gigabyte support team. i am not alone with this bug, google is full with this if i search "SIV problem".
That bug exists since SIV is out (a lot of months) and still not fixed. this bores me really.
Then SIV update comes out, i install it -> still old problem. why they do nothing about that? it's just a software problem.

I hope they do something in the near future!

EDIT: I did a few start ups and restarts and i think my problem is gone,pc starts up without me going in bios and reseting. So i think this is finally fixed. Thanks again for the driver.

I have 7 series. and there is no information for it in the ini files.

but yet the readme shows it support it.

Of course you could install the rst driver 13.2 branches (orom 13.2 too) on your mobo but for have made different benchmark's with different intel 7 series motherboards, it appears that the 13.1 branches is more suitable (better scoring).

But this is just my experience, feel free to install it. basically 13.2 support the new X99 chipset.

This is not possbile on the Z77 chipset unless you have storage in RAID configuration.
The latest release of the IRST drivers that supports the Z77 in AHCI mode is V.13.1.0.1058 which is advisable to be associated with the OROMs V.13.1.0.2126 to have the best stability and performance.

I tried and modded bios for my m5g(z77) with 13.1. Samsung magician reporting it can't communicate with the ssd, but it's working and nothing seems wrong with it... I went back again to default bios and 11.x just to make sure...
Maybe I used the wrong driver version?
