Hello, GA-X58A-UD3R - F6b appears to be giving me bluescreens at first startup and bad memory mapping. every other start up will have 10GB detected (I have 12GB) the rest of the time is normal. once I get it going after a few startups it works fine.
Didn't have this on F4.
Will do more testing to make sure a RAM module didn't go bad.
I have six modules to test, all tested fine except one.
Well XMP profiles would only apply to one kit, but I do not suggest you use them anyway. I suggest even with only 6GB that you set the memory up yourself, this means memory multiplier, uncore, Vdimm, and QPI/Vtt voltages all set manually.
XMP Profile 1, even if you wanted to use this or I advised XMP, would not work simply because you have two kits and the XMP is programmed for one kit.
I could help you with your settings for sure, but it does sound to me like you have one faulty stick correct? Did you test each one in the same slots, so you are sure that it is a single stick that fails and all the rest do not? If so, sounds like you will need to RMA one of the kits.
