    I just replayed saying that your probably right and its not worth it as one dont can get any magic speedboost in gaming :)

    I think I will relax a while now couse all these tweaking has start going on me nerves, you know all work and no play :)

    I have read up on the tRD and as you and others said, thats is where it's at!

    Best regards

    Ok I misunderstood. And yes tweaking does get tedious.

    Here is another place to look if you haven't already:

          Re: About TRFC?

          Nope but it's fun to, if one take some paus in between once in a while, atleast for a noob like myself who just started with all this tweaking but soon im ready to go once again so if you would you could take a look and see if the timings seems okey :)

          Memset give me these values!

          All Precharge to Active = 5
          trfc = 46, set by me
          trd = 8, set by me
          Write to Precharge Delayed = 14
          twtr = 11
          trrd = 4
          trd_wr = 8
          trtp = 6
          All Precharge to Refresh delay = 5
          tref = 3316
          cmd = 2, set by me

          Best Regards

            Re: About TRFC?

            These maybe can be brought down >>>
            Write to Precharge Delayed = 14 << Maybe one less in BIOS, possibly two
            twtr = 11 << Maybe one less in BIOS
            trrd = 4 << Maybe 3, Likely 3
            trd_wr = 8
            trtp = 6 << Maybe 2-3 set in BIOS, in Memset 3=5, 2=4 (2 May cause instability, 3 should not)

            Is what you have Memtest86+ stable for some tested amount of time? If not, you need to be doing that first as you may have things to low already

              Re: About TRFC?

              Thanks for taking your time Lsdmeasap, much appriciated :)

              I will check this out when I get home and I have seen that in Bios some values are totaly diferent then in Memset as you said, If I remember corectly then the last one trtp = 3 in Bios.

              BTW I did run some memory benchmark with Everest and woow what a difference the tRD does, as I said earlier Bios set it at extremely low 15 and that gives me around 7000Mb but tRD set at 8 gives a nice boost and give me 8100Mb or so. thats nice :)

              I did over 8 hours in Prime95 blend test and over 30 passes each with test 2 and 5in Memtest+ so I think it's stable, atleast I hope so and will test out the other timings soon!

              Thanks again and good luck yourself with your new shiny board :)

                Re: About TRFC?

                Anytime

                Ya, I mention that in the memory pinned guide. I do need to add to it though, 3 values will be different.

                ya, trd is a Huge Impact on Performance for sure

                Good luck with your testing, and thanks for the kind words

                  Re: About TRFC?

                  Oops yes you did and a great memory guide BTW :)

                  I just tested to bring some mem values down but I saw no better values in Everest just so I might just leave em be for now I think!

                  Best Regards and keep on tweaking you new HW :)

                    Ya, only certain setting changes will make large noticeable changes
