Hi there.
E3C224 board here.
I don't know what happened, but after changing the IP address of the IPMI dedicated network port; I can now ping the board just fine, but web interface is now dead.
Probing the IP address, I can see that the telnet and ssh ports are open, nothing else; and that's all I can access.
I thought I would simply do a factory reset. Unfortunately, all the documentations I've managed to find give the instructions on how to do so via the GUI.
But I can't access the GUI!
Anyone know of a way to reset the IPMI configuration to factory default? either by playing with a jumper on the motherboard or using the telnet/ssh interface (CLI) ?
I tried resetting the BIOS, removed the battery and shorten the CLRCMOS2 pins ; cold reset; the lot.
just no go.
I tried changing the IP address in the UEFI/BIOS settings, but while that does change the IP address, I still don't have access to any gui...
Must have hit a bug in that ipmi chip
Thanks in advance
JY
