Ya, that winbootinfo shows all kinds of information, it's a great tool.

The reboot script is helpful too, but mainly just for timed comparisons between other users or your own system after tweaks.

well its been a few days now and read/write figures have improved from previous post,

just a heads up for corsair force gt owners, a recent new firmware version has been released 5.0.2

ive just flashed my 60gb drives firmware from 1.3.3 to 5.0.2 and heres the atto side by side comparison



as you can see the write speeds seem to have been improved on the latest firmware,owners of the larger capacity drives might see a larger increase in speeds idk,i didnt have to secure erase either,flashing was a simple process

Nice work Wazza... Good to know a secure erase is not needed.

Your drive is a 60gb ssd? Ill see if I can update my 120gb and see what it gets.

Ok here is my before and after.. Except for one problem. I had issues updating my firmware, with intel drivers installed updater could not find the drive. So I had to uninstall the drivers and use the MSAHCI drivers and then updated the drive. Since my server is down I dont have access my files from it over network and I did not take not what version drivers I had installed. So I downloaded the latest drivers for the after test.
