            To anyone who hasn't play'd with this one yet, don't assume.....I concide that this is a budget enter, but they built a very nice card this time. Gf 3 guys......sorry, but the 440 does exeeds your cards in some key areas. The 460 is bumped from the 440.
            I was very impress with the 460 in it's side by side Max Pane test comprison with a Gf3 Ti 200, on identical systems.

            I can hardly wait to see these board big brothers........there's my $.02 worh.
            I've got the Abit Siluro Geforce 3 Ti 200, and my score in 3d Mark 2001 Se is 6700-6800. A friend of mine have a G4 MX440, and it's way behind.

                who work for a pc chain store, in their tech dept. He's advising everyone to hold up on buying the Gf4's........he said that they are seeing a lot of compadibility issues with games and hardware.
                This is not unexpected with any new hardware, and the patches will probly be out soon..............fyi.:smokin:

                    For a budget card it rivals the gf3ti200's, but it looks like the typical birth hangups..........I'm suggesting that we watch for the patches. Besides the price is dropping and the have a 460 series that is even more powerful...........food for thought;)

                      My local discount computer store lists a warning on its website that there are problems using the MX440 with the Via KT266 chipset. They suggested for $15 less to purchase the GF2Ti200 since that one "works". :confused:

                        Now that's strange other than the fitment prob with some EPoX motherboards with a certain brand of card nothing has been put up on websites around the world. :?:

                          Interesting... It was tested on an EPoX 8KHA+ motherboard.

                            Doesn't effect all Darth but some where made with a larger capacitor than others sitting just off the slot which is in the way. Here's a pick from Hard OCP.
                            <img src="http://www.hardocp.com/new_img_02/feb/gef4_8kha-touching.jpg">
                            and the prob is with VisionTek GeForce4 Ti4600 cards.
                            EPoX UK will modify the board and a statemant from Tiawain said to just remove it but that doesn't sound good. :smokin:
