My opinion is that 1.372v is OK for 24/7 on some cpu's......I was running my 4770K at 4.8 24/7 for a while at less voltage but it started nagging at me and I eventually went down to 4.5 at 1.245v, lol. I guess I'm just used to running my cpu's at 4.5......plus I couldn't see any real benefit for myself.

I was able to get down to 1.23v at 4.5, except I had problems with sleep. Bumping up just a little to 1.235v vid and sleep works right again. This has been a strange board for sleep, or at least this cpu on this board compared to my Z87 board.

Amazon and Newegg are still saying the 25th, wazza. Who knows? I don't think anyone knows for sure. You would think Intel would release some information as well. Well, you wouldn't but still.

Yep....one of the UK guys on OCN has his 4790K installed and rocking. Guess the US got left by the bus this time around.

I think its only 100 units atm,not sure

early ocing looks promising,4.8ghz 1.37v and 67c in prim95

Still sucks that they are not over here. I can do that with my 4770K so it's nothing special I've seen yet, I was hoping for better.

I think around 4.7ghz/4.8ghz

I doubt any would run 5ghz 24/7 idk

We'll see how the retail samples go....I doubt 5ghz 24/7 as well but I guess a lot of folks will be happy not having to delid.
Since I have two boards and only one cpu is the only reason I'm going ahead with DC, otherwise my backup rig stays idle.

First retail appear.......batch L336D106......almost same as ES......(L336D081).....production year 2013 (week 36) .
I expected batch L4xxx.....(year 2014).

Are you picking yours up in person? Only option I have is to order mine online....half my money is in Pay Pal from selling one of my Z77 boards. Even if I did go to a store and buy one it's a long long drive from where I live.
