Stasio what is replacing GTL for z87x-oc? Its a pain rebooting back to bios, and unless i am retarded which I sure I am DTB doesn't work for me.

Well so far my 4670k needs 1.375v for 4.5ghz and 5 rounds of linx 1 core is at 95c touches 100 for a sec or 2. This with untouched 4670k with mx4 and EK supremacy block. Waiting for my liquid pro will be here tomorrow. I will either delid it tonight or tomorrow. Either way I test with mx4 vs liquid pro.

@ace that seems a lot of vcore for 4.5ghz? maybe less if you can run it cooler?

ive seen a few reports of haswell having a smaller gap between the cpu pcb/heatsink,too small to get a blade inbetween

well fixed my high voltage issue. Followed this guid 3 Step Guide to Overclock Your i7 / i5 Haswell Platform | Overclockers sorrta. At least this part my cpu will do 4.2ghz at 1.2v 4.5ghz needs 1.325 in bios with llc extreme. Could try to lower LLC to turbo. With Volt meter llc extreme on the z87x-OC board 1.325v llc extreme is 1.334-1.34 i believe and cpuz shows 1.322v.

So any way delidded the cpu got my liquid pro totally forgot to try mx4 on the cores, mx4 on block but any who, 4.5ghz 1.325v llc extreme 4 rounds of linux cores top out at 70c. From 80c pre delidding and just mx4. Ill post screen show of it running soon.

Edit - Cpuz and realtemp have trouble reading base clock. Realtemp does read it correct most of the time but still has issues. Need to update to f5i and see if that helps.
