      • Hello, honoured experts! Forgive me, a newbie, if I write in the wrong place or off topic.

Can you please tell me if it is possible to enable "above 4g decoding" function in GA-Z97MX-Gaming 5 motherboard by editing the bios? I ran UEFITool, loaded the latest available bios (F7c) and found this phrase in the search results. But I don't know how to edit the bios myself. I need all this to activate resizable bar on my old hardware, a feature that greatly improves performance in modern games.? Thank you!

          • Hello,

can someone mod or update the BIOS for GA-Z97M-D3H so it supports TPM 2.0?

I am currently on the latest Beta Version F9b, and it recognizes the TPM 2.0 module but says "support turned off". The other modded BIOS for the Z97 don't seem to work for me because I have the Z97M.

            Thank you!

+1, I have the same mobo and bought a GC-TPM2.0 Module. Only issue is that Windows 11 doesn’t recognize it. Secure boot and "Security Device Support" is enabled. In BIOS under Peripherals > "Trusted Computing" > "Current Status Information" reports "SUPPORT TURNED OFF". Which is very likely the cause. I'v tried bios versions F8, F8a, F9a and F9b. None work. I have submitted a esupport ticket to gigabyte and hope that they are able to help. Click image for larger version

I contacted Gigabyte eSupport, they sent me BIOS version F9d with TPM 2.0 support. This is for the Gigabyte Z97M-D3H; Rev 1.1(maybe it will also work for the other revisions, try it) I attached the link to download it to this message, for backup, I have also uploaded it to bunkr.
