Nice to see you found your bent pin and could easily fix it!!

I agree, it's often hard to see bent pins, so I always try to get users to post images just in case they are missing them. Nice you found yours!

I received replacement RAM - Corsair Dominator CMP6GX3M3A1600C8. For now it look it is working perfectly, with same settings I used before - bclk 191. Have to do some more testing but I guess that this nightmare is over :-)

Hello, i have finally removed the CPU and looked for bent pins and there seems to be 3 of them. I did not manage to take good screenshots but i hope you can see anyway.

funny enough i just bought a asus p6x58d-e off ebay and the exact same thing was wrong with it 6gb installed 4 gb usable i looked at cpu socket and could see one bent pin,i got a sewing needle and flicked it carefully back and now all 6gb show up and is usable,i wouldnt suggest fixing it yourself as it tricky and you may do more damage, gigabyte are pretty good when it comes to repairing bent pins so i would rma it

yes i can see atleast three or four bent pins in the pic you posted

Yes, I see several bent pins. Could be more but not sure due to the images, but this is plenty enough for many things to not be working, I'm surprised it boots.

Here is the ones I can see, you will need to RMA the board.

Than you. I rather try to straighten them with a mechanical pencil. Motherboard was bought 8 months ago and i could not contact them to ask but i saw they don't sell that mobo anymore and i'm unsure if they will take it back after so long time. But its mostly because i don't want to be without pc for longer time. I guess its ok to try to straighten them.

they should rma it for you,the shop where you bought it from,if not contact gigabyte directly and request an rma,you have a 3 year warranty on mb's
i only had one slightly bent pin,it will be hard to straighten those as there very tiny and you want to be carefull they dont break off

1366 socket pins are so thin, I hate messing with them as they can break so easily.

Nice to see your steady hand worked some magic on those pins!!
