This is also more expensive than the SR-2...

Gigabyte isn't stupid. There's no way they'd do that.
While there probably is some price hiking, there is a base price Gigabyte IS charging and I'm pretty sure it's in the mid 6's. So yeah, Gigabyte DOES have some say in these prices. I don't think Newegg just decided to charge $700 dollars for a $500 dollar motherboard!!!

In short, IT IS Gigabyte who is dictating the price!

        My opinion.

$642 AUS is $535 USD. Australia usually gets the exchange rate plus around 10% on their prices. So that brings the price down to around $482 based on common price hikes/exchange rates.

So, I'd expect Gigabyte's MSRP to be $500ish and Newegg is raising that $200 more because they're the only retailer that has them for sale in the US right now. I wouldn't put it past them at all.

So what are you going to do till then? I guess those default speeds on the 965 Extreme is going to hinder you till a new BIOS is released :)

what do you mean default speed temp is same if i run it at 3.2 MHz or 4020.1 MHz

if you meen board was built around the 980X I am saving up for that now its just a matter of time

it does seem strange that my video card run cooler then CPU
CPU is water cool video card are not

No offense meant, Just meant what are you going to do until a BIOS comes out to correct the temps warning? As for the 980X, I had assumed you had one, until I saw the 965. I doesn't surprise me that you're getting a 980X though, considering the system you have right now :)

Nice system... even without the 980 :)

With a system like that, it's only fitting to put a 980X in it. If I had it, that's what i'd do. Very nice. Keep us informed.

Ahh, looks unsupported, that is how mine looked until they updated it for UD7

Please make a thread over at this forum and send Fiery your CPU-z dump and see if he can get you a beta made for UD9
Lavalys Discussion Forum -> Hardware monitoring

I can't remember when UD7 was unsupported, if the Aux or CPU temp was correct or not?

However I do know once it was updated to support UD7 everything looked normal and was named properly too, so Aux or CPU as of right now may not even be a real sensor or the correct amount until updated.

I looked through the archive at all the current newer than 5.50.2100 beta's and none of them mention UD9 in the change log, so you will need to make a thread and ask him to add it or wait
