Alright, I've been running tests and apparently this is the "max" I can get it to run at without getting any errors in ibt at 75% ram use. I did a couple volt changes here and there (increased everything but dram v) but it still wouldn't run cleanly. At this point, will advanced timings do anything?

Re: Question concerning my RAM and Q8200

well the 75% usage isnt all that much use to you ,you dont want to get some odd errors later on.
assuming for the moment that the cpu core V1.325 has you covered for a bit more cpu speed, that the mch V is the same still looks a little high but maybe u need it for 4sticks.

Then there are 2 more things to try for now, memory voltage and memory timing.

You have 2.1V set in bios(approx 2.08V actual, see what voltage it shows for ram in the pc health section of the bios)
Do some memory bandwidth/latency tests, utilities such as everest, and sisoft sandra, and cacheburst 32 will give you those results.
You seem to have determined, kinda ,that 890mhz is the max stable memory speed u can get on 5-5-5-15 timings with pl 9 and 2.1v.

On my particular setup it would be approximately the same but with 4-4-4-12 timings.
Sooo leave everything as is except for the main memory timings.Change 5-5-5-15 to 6-6-6-18 .you could mess around with 5-5-5-18,6-5-5-15 etc ,but just loosen the timing out to standard figures.
Then add in 10 mhz cpu ref and see if it boots up ok etc and test.
If it does try another 5 mhz boot it up and test.
At this point or around 460 mhz your increase in fsb speed may negate the performance drop of loosening out the timings.Do some bandwidth/latency tests to see.
The cpu would also be running 100mhz faster, ok 105mhz .

If you get that far ok,you may have to bump up something for a further increase in cpu ref.My guess would be .02-.04 dramV.but Its possible cpu V might need .01V.Hopefully mch V wouldnt need an increase.
If you can get to 470/475 cpu ref, with 6-6-6-18 timings and without going crazy on voltages you should have a faster pc than 445 cpu ref and 5-5-5-15.
That is memory dependent tho and maybe the memory as stated above just wont go faster no matter how much you loosen the timings.

Another option would be to set pl(static read) at 10,leave the main cas timings as they are and see if you can get more speed.

The more minor memory timings ..well they may or may not affect things,tRFC you could set out to 64 or 66 but that will actually decrease memory performance unless you are running it at increased speed.
You could drop it down to 48 from 52 and the memory may still run fine at that speed but performance increase wont really be noticeable.

Because of 8200 lowish multiplier its harder to get 1ghz over standard clock speed, but even at 3.1 everything must be a lot faster /snappier.
