I would suggest a clean install now as well, as I asked and a few other people have also informed me they are using F3c and this board and have no issues installing or using EasyTune.

Overclocking would not matter to easytune, something else is wrong on the software side of things. A clean install would be much easier than trying to narrow down what driver or program is causing this, or whatever else the problem might be.

The same sh*t here. I am with clean install of windows 7 64bit (not on C) but the latest Easy Tune 6 doesn't start at all. No error mesages, no driver missing, nothing. This is my first Gigabyte bord after many years and I am very disappointed to discover that the software is still not working like 8-9 years ago. I am using the latest BIOS f3g. I hope that "Easy Tune 6" problem will find solution soon. I would suggest to NOT waste your time with re-installation of the OS .

I get the same problem. Error that a driver didn't install and my mobo is the UD3R rev.1.6 using the FB bios.

It actually does run though. After it gives the driver didn't load error, just right click the ET6 icon in taskbar and select show and easytune opens. I don't use this for anything other than to check what im seeing in CPU-Z but it does open. Would be nice to eliminate that error message though.

I understand that people are frustrated, but to be honest, ET6 is actually pretty useless. CPU-Z is a much more reliable tool, so I would use that for basic CPUID use. Certainly don't use ET6 to check CPU-Z with.

As far as ET6's other functions, I wouldn't particularly recommend you use them anyway. Speedfan can be used to control fans and monitor current board, CPU and CPU Core temperatures and is much more versatile than ET6, as well as being nicer to look at. ET6 looks dated.

Definitely stay away from its overclocking features too. The only reason to go to that section using |ET6 would be to see what voltages you have set in the BIOS. I'd never use it to change them. OC in the BIOS. There is the inconvenience that if you need to post settings here then you'll have to reboot to write them down rather than take a screenshot of the Advanced > Voltages tab, but that's no real hassle, it takes about 2 minutes. Most people should be able to memorize a lot of BIOS settings too. I know every tweak and setting needed for this rig at 3.9GHz, 3.8GHz, 3.6GHz and stock 2.8GHz.

I can't help further with the missing driver or the complete failure to start because ET6 has always worked for me. It's running fine on this current install of Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit, it also runs on XP 323bit on the same rig. Having built systems based on the newer UD3P/R 1.6, I can confirm that ET6 worked on them too with a standard Vista 64bit/Windows 7 64bit install, no tweaking needed on Win 7, just a .net update needed for Vista or simply installed SP2.

I can confirm this issue with Win7 Home Premium x64 and HD 5750. Latest ATi drivers.

I get the following system event error log entry (event id 1060)--
"\C:\Windows\SysWow64\Drivers\GVTDrv.sys has been blocked from loading due to incompatibility with this system. Please contact your software vendor for a compatible version of the driver."

Thanks for the suggestion. No new chipset driver. I am using latest chip set driver 9.1.1.1020 dated 16 nov 2009. I think problem is common to machines using ATi 57xx,58xx cards and 64 bit win7. It is trying load an incompatible driver to access the card?? I see the following event in WIN7 system event log "\??\C:\Windows\SysWow64\Drivers\GVTDrv.sys has been blocked from loading due to incompatibility with this system. Please contact your software vendor for a compatible version of the driver.". I notice there is a file named C:\Windows\GVTDrv64 (assume a 64 bit version of the driver) that it is not using for some reason?

Same problem in Easy Tune: 'cannot load the device driver'.
System is new and clean: no other software installed except Windows 7 (64) and up-to-date hardware drivers.
