Hopefully when they create such a program, and you know they will, they will at least be kind/smart enough to not name it Skynet just for safety's sake!!!!

I was laughing it up last week when I watched the first Tron, I remember the GFX Being sooooo cool back then, and now they look worse than some generic atari or something :)

This weeks Warehouse 13 looks very cool! I can't wait, and Fringe may be on this week too If I remember right, hope so! If not next week for sure though as I set the recorder already, just don't recall if it was this week or not

AHh Fringe, Thanks fo reminding me. I have half a season stock piled to watch that I just remembered about.

I have some bad news. I was just checking some comments on eztv and found the news that Defying Gravity may be canceled. I did a goodle and found a site with a bit of a write up. Its not 100% official but it looks like it will be :-( that is so crap. Each episode was getting better and better. If they dont tell me what was in POD 4 I will be so pissed.

AHAHA your right, they are worse then an Atari and all that. But 1982 that was a bloody long time ago. 2 Years before I was around

Well at least we know you have one usable machine anyway, your replying, downloading shows, and watching them so at least something is partially working anyway

Do you think it could be because of our Win 7 7232 build? They've been known to screw up builds before. The second build I used after 7000 knocked 600 points off my Vantage GPU result, so it may be effecting you.

I do find that initially, after installing a new Catalyst version I have to restart the PC or I get bad screen corruption and Vantage crashes out, with CrossFireX enabled. After the restart, everything's fine.

I really couldnt say 100% if its got anything to do with the Software layer or not. Im going to lean to the "no" side because its the same build im running my E8500 and doesnt matter what I do to it, it doesnt hard lock. This weekend if I can manage to have some time to myself I will experement. I dont think (cant remember) if I put my XMS2 800Mhz ram in with the Q9550 and tried for 400mhz FSB. I should also really try the Q in the P45 board. Maybe half the reason why I havent done it is that I have a feeling in the back of my head that it is just this chip and it just like to run stock ?? who knows. Its ok. It will be ok untill I get to a point were the Q doesnt not provide enough power for me to do the things I need it to do ( the Pentium D had reached that point a long time ago).

                  Cant Wait for:
                  Heroes
                  Prision Break
and Californication ?? to come back on.

                  Is califonication even coming back.

Setup a dual OS Boot and do a clean install, then you can easily test if it is software side or not.

Californication I think it coming back, at least last I heard

And hey, your P45 board is screaming for you to overclock your Quad in it! Give it a chance, I bet it will be much easier in that board, especially since you know the P45 BIOS a bit now

                      • Re: New Build GA-EP45-DS3 + Q9550

Just a word of warning: DO NOT USE CATALYST 9.(! It's a bit of a mess up on ATI's part. 4850 performance is all over the place. I installed it ready to play Resident Evil 5 and noticed performance decreases across the board of between 10% and 50% depending on the title.

The hot fix 9.8's that add RE5 CrossfireX, Ghostbusters Anti Aliasing support and fix the Sims 3 glitch work perfectly.

RE5 isn't a bad game. I'm nearly finished on regular difficulty. Now I know I like the game I've ordered it on Play.cpm, so should have the retail version by tomorrow. I have a strict policy of "No demo, no purchase". As there was no playable demo, I DL'd it from Bittorrent. As per my own gaming moral code, if I like them I'll then buy them, if not I'll stop playing and delete the files/ISO. The fact that the US version was out on tuesday and it's not here in the UK until Friday also compelled me to download and play.

Capcom have done a good job with their Console > PC titles and it helps with their MT Framework engine being so well optimised for the PC (all MT games are developed on PC then coded cross platform later). Shame they couldn't just have released it on the same day, as everyone knows the stock is just sitting there in warehouses, it's not a last minute thing.

I recommend anyone who hasn't played the console version get it, it's a cool game. Even if you do have the console version, you might want the PC version so you don't have to suffer all the post processing added to make the game look OK on consoles. The PS3 version doesn't even have A, so you get a bit of a blur to things. XBox is a bit better with dynamic AA. If the 360 has enough juice it will use 4x MSAA, dropping to 2X MSAA in intense areas. Note that I get ~ 140 FPS average, and the console version is locked to 30 FPS on both platforms. As a result, controller input is much smoother on the PC as is the whole game in general.

Hi guys sorry, I havent been on for a couple of days, Been real busy at work. I didnt even know there was a CCC 9.9 but ill be sure to stay away from it. I havent been playing anything for a week or so, just been so stuffed from work and the damm heat its not funny. My Quad has been running fine with no problems even in the hot hot heat. I havent changed anything but just havent run Future Mark. I have my test HDD which I will put Vista on again oneday when I have time. Ive just worked a full day today (saturday) which totally sucks. I dont wanna mess with my RAID 1 Drives at all, no dual boot or nothing. But Im 99% sure that its not a sortware thing. Anyway.\

Good news. Defying Gravity isnt 100% cancelled. Yet. ABC has dropped it from the schedule for now, for whatever stupid reason they have however CTV is still rolling out the last 2 episodes. I have episode 9 on its way now. That is good. And Crazy **** but just the otherday I was talking about Californication and Bang there are 2 "leaked" DVD Screener Episodes out yesterday. Hooraa. Gunna pick my Motorbike up next week so I will have even less time to do much, but the bike is a must as i need it to give me some form of fitness. (dirt bike riding is quite strenuous)

I keep forgetting to record that, off to set the Tivo now!

Yeah I cant remember if I mentioned it but yeah the new GUI is totally crap on the newer CCC. Seems to be alot of missing options and just plain harder to find the stuff you want. WTF ATI?
