I REALLY like the Stargate series, hated that they canceled Atlantis but I am looking forward to Stargate Universe though

Warehouse13 is pretty good, I thought it might not be either but after the first episode I was hooked.

      • As you can see, there's plenty of room for two cards cooled by these in Crosfire on the UD3P. However the cooler does block the second CF Bridge port. Only one bridge is needed for two card CF though, so it doesn't matter. The only real issue comes from difficulty using the lower row of three Intel SATA ports. Not an issue for me, but may be for others. I shifted my DVD drive to the JMicron in preparation for fitting the second card when I get it back.

Nice Pics mate. Yeah All those shows mentioned I love. When I was younger (single) When I visited my Uncle, we used to have Star Trek Marrithons for like a week straight. I loved it.

Nothing new here at this stage. I will be looking for a new large capacity HDD as a storage drive to offload some of my older tv shows and movies on to as I dont want to fill my raid with crap. Ill probably by another 1TB Seagate but if anyone has any suggestions please feel free.

Sounds good to me, I'll take one as well if you are ordering tonight!

Well I guess we left out Heroes and it deserves a great mention as well because this show rocks!!

I really liked 4400 as well, but they canceled it right when things started to get super interesting

Yeah Heroes is awesome, and I liked 4400 but I only ever say the first 2 episodes as a premier on Aus tv then I dont think they showed anymore then I say it pop up on eztv and then it was cancelled so I didnt even want to bare the pain of another show I was hooked on getting canned. Its not a very nice feeling. Damm Syfy or whatever the hell they are called for canning BSG. Damm Them to hell

Cancelling B|S|G? The British Society of Gastroenterology? NOOOOO!!! British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG)

How would we help all the poorly children to poo?

there seems to be a lot of shows being canned in the US atm. TSCC is an uncertainty. Chuck is looking doubtful for a third series etc. I'm sure Heroes will make it for another, maybe not until the economy improves.

It also comes down to how much Americans love their TiVo's. I think up to 35% of a shows viewing can be time shifted in this way. OFC, one always skips the adverts if you have it recorded, so they loose potential revenue that way. Internet downloading also contributes in some way. Having it free to stream indefinitely as soon as it's aired, in all territories would be nice. If I try and watch "last weeks episode" of say SCC on fox website, it tells me NO! because I'm in the UK, and Virgin1 have the rights to broadcast it there. Why don't they broadcast it in the states and UK at the same time? It'd have stopped me from downloading every single episode.

                    Yeap Tivo rocks!!

All it is guys is a super VCR. Digital Video Recorder (DVR) that allows you to watch one channel while you are recording another. And you can store 80+ hours of data in it, or upgrade the default drive for more storage

And of course skip commercials. Code for anyone reading this who is unaware of the nice feature. Press Select, Play, Select, 3, 0, select while watching any recording in the now playing list, to enable 30 second fast forward instead of your "skip to the end" key. Then anytime during a recording or live TV (Must be a little bit behind though) you can skip 30 seconds ahead at a time

Sounds totally Narly. So it does plug into your Internet to get the video? I live in the country and we have only just got digital TV and not all of the 5 Free to Air channels that we have here. So yeah plus Tivo is like $800 AUD. I might stick to eztv for awhile.

No, it comes over a satellite or you can plug your cable TV into it.

It does not have to be HD Digitial TV, any Cable or satellite TV would work

It definatly has some form of Internet downloadable movie feature but of coarse my ISP is not one that is one there Unmetered Partners list so I would suck up my 25gig in noooo time. I hate Australian Internet. Bring on Fibre damm government.

I'm going to give him this 20" widescreen too for free. He thinks he's getting an old 19" 5:4 Viewsonic.

                                Nice Psycho. Your doing well.

Well After watching the Double Premier Episode of Warehouse 13 Ive downloaded the remaining 8 Episodes to date in the first season. See I dont feel guilty about downloading them because I tell all my mates how good something is then in like 3 years when we actually get it on tv they will watch it. Besides I dont think in AUS on Free To Air TV they can tell who watches what. So ratings dont mean **** here cause they are just some made up number.

Ive updated to the latest CCC from ATI and wow, Not a ****ing bit of difference in jack ****. ALso I tried arma with and without crossfire enabled and it seemed to make absolutly no difference what so ever. So I dont know what the go is there. Oh well. I have been playing eve online heaps and nothing else so It not a major issue I guess. I just like things to work good.
