CPU Term is Vtt, what do you mean? Sounded like you are talking about two different settings there

I do advise that you don't use normal or Auto on Vtt as they both will be far to much with overclocks

He probably meant CPU Ref. And why would normal be too much? That sets the VID.

Well Normal does not always set that at high clocks, I think you are right though anyway. I doubt Normal Vtt would bootup at that FSB

Bleh, it was a typo of course. I just woke up!! (too many toads)
          CPU ref, naturally.
VTT is at um, 1.24? I really don't know anymore!

I could have found another 23 Prime numbers (If that's even what it does!) the amount of Prime95 I have run in the last month or two!!!

Guys I need opinion. Do we agree that 1.36250 VCORE is enough for 540x7.5? 4050MHz I think.
I gotta nail the problem down. If I can Prime for 11 hours, I must be very close to stability. FFS!!!

                and LOL Dan :D

That depends on your CPU really. What do you need to be stable at 445x9 or 500x8? For example, mine is a real voltage hog. Even though it's a 1.25VID I need about 1.37V set in BIOS to get close to stable. Anything lower and it just reboots during the first couple of minutes of prime/orthos.

Yes, please test 333 FSB for 24 hours again to be sure, then 266 FSB while you are at it

So does FSB have any impact on CPU stability or is it only about resulting frequency?

Yes, FSB has a huge impact on stability as many factors affect/are affected by it

What on earth happens at 6hrs into Prime Blend thats different to the previous 5hrs?

It's the third time 510x8.5 has failed on me now (With adjustments each time of course)...

Screw blend and try my custom test!

The stress-test in Prime can be configured to better test various components of the computer by changing the fast fourier transform (FFT) size. Three pre-set configurations are available: Small FFTs, In-Place FFTs, and Blend. Small and In-Place modes primarily test the FPU and the caches of the CPU, whereas the Blend mode tests everything, including the memory.
By selecting Custom, the user can gain further control of the configuration. For example, by selecting 8-8KB as the FFT size, the program stresses primarily the CPU. By selecting 2048-4096KB and unchecking the "Run FFTs in-place" checkbox, providing the maximum amount of RAM free in the system, the program tests the memory and the chipset.

Read this: Torture test your CPU with Prime95

VERY nice reading about the tests.

                                OK BABY I DID IT!!!

                                [Aug 24 13:03] Torture Test completed 1085 tests in 25 hours, 21 minutes - 0 errors, 0 warnings.
                                [Aug 24 13:03] Worker stopped.

Time to stress the CPU now.

Note: for safety reason I had VDIMM raised to 2.2V, trying with 2.1 now, and Small FFTs.

                                The stable FSB setup:
