He didn't, he just forgot to change the log info (I know since he made the mod for me originally). :)
^^ Correct! ^^ that is why I <s>strik'd</s> it out as well, I just left for others in case anyone already downloaded , so no one would go crazy wondering why it was missing, then I updated it and added the new notes.
I did several BIOSes at the same time, all with the same changes except for the UD3P, and I mistakenly left that in when I copied the change log info.
I verified that for NiklasA as he mentioned it right away too, so it's just a typo and that package was pulled and replaced anyway due to the AHCI not working for that board.
First off I want to say hi, I'm new to this forum, And it looks like a great community that I wish to be apart of.
I have a Z68-UD7 mobo and I have an annoying boot issue when overclocked.
When my CPU is @ 4.8ghz (2600k) it's fully stable for 48hours On prime 95 and can fold for days on end.
Settings are 1.375 with LLC7 so on load I get 1.392vcore.
It's all good when the rig is on. But when i switch the rig on (btw its still plugged in and has power running through it, the OC is just switched off) it would get stuck on C1 (led poster) and flicker a few times then reboot, it does this a few times the. Eventually loads up with the OC settings still in place.
The CPU is watercooled and on boot up it would sit at ~29c idle and 60c on load (after a few hours of stress).
I have the F10 bios btw
Can anybody help me on this?
It happens EVERY time I boot up and the OC never fails...

Also reason i posted it here because I thought the F10 bios was a fix for this.
I've detected two bugs in the BIOS GA-X79-UD7 - F11c .
The first one is that if you use a SteelSeries XAI mouse on the bios interface the pointer only moves horizontally.
The other one, that was present in the F10 too is that if you define the VID of the processor in the BIOS manually, when you reboot the BIOS says that the default voltaje for this processor is 1V, then the real one it's around 1.25 (Intel Core i7 3820). If you try to define the VID with offset, I'm not sure if the offset start counting from 1V or from 1.26V, this could be very dangerous, because if you define a voltaje offset for 1V and the system is working with 1.26V you can burn the CPU.

Is your usb drive formated in fat32? It does not have to be bootable just has to be in fat32.
