Does anyone have any information on if/when Gigabyte will update Q-Flash to work with the newer larger BIOS sizes?
[QUOTE=Alicea;386724]About flashing BIOS<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Older BIOSes are 1M. Newest 2M. Each contain the tool Q-BIOS suitable for its size (so you can use it for flashing BIOS of same format). Similarly the program FLASHSPI attached by Gigabyte to a BIOS data file is right for it. But if you are going to replace a smaller BIOS with bigger one (or opposite) - you have to use the newest @BIOS, as it is the only tool which reformatting a flash memory of your motherboard. ----------
