Re: Gigabyte latest bios
Stasio, all these beta BIOS are great.....but a little description of what exactly these new BIOS are addressing would be nice. I see little point in blindly flashing a BIOS without knowing if will actual improve anything.
I am running F7a BIOS, but ET6 stopped wanting to work once I did (well, it would start, but then get errors after a while and close). I DLed the latest version of ET6, but the problem remains. So obviously there is a conflict with some BIOS and ET6. Now if this beta BIOS said it addressed that issue, I might flash. If it said it improved overclocking and stability, I might flash. Or maybe there is an issue someone else is having and they may like a BIOS to address that, but without knowing if there is a fix for their problem, there is no point in flashing. There is no point in even releasing a BIOS, beta or not, without a description of what changes have been made.
