UD5 i7 920 Bios F8e

In order to be stable, I have to set the uncore frequency at 20, no matter what (ram divider is at 8x). Not sure why this is, just is. Also expect to use a tad more voltage for stability on the F8e. (actually seems lower at one Bclk, then higher for another, still needs more testing)

The boot up is insanely fast with F8e and d, just outstanding work on the AHCI rom. Still need to play with the ram timings to see how tight it will get. No trouble running my 1600mhz gskill at 1700 on stock volts.

Attempting 188 bclk with 1.9 vcore and 1.26 qpi right now. all features enabled, C0 stepping.

GA- UD5 i7 920 (188-192 Bclk depending on the day of the week, every feature enabled) 1.18-1.2 vcore, 1.22-1.32qpi. Lapped TRUE push pull scythe kaze. Gskill 1600mhz ddr3. Haf932, 2x 750g WD blacks, GTX 285. Corsair 1200w.

is there some setting for tha usb keyboard to initial sooner? have trouble to hit delete button to get in to bios. have to clr bios to get in.

Activate keyboard and mouse in bios, 3rd deal down on the left side, integrated peripherals or something.

Also if you have AHCI you won't see a flash screen, it boots to fast, so just start smashing delete while it boots to get into bios.

Before AHCI, like 3-5 minutes to boot, with AHCI 1.2 like 40 seconds, counting windows welcome screen junk.

i have one "weird" result with the lates bios for my ds4 (well, the latest, with some mods, wich are, a newer raid rom, and the latest jmicron bios too)

when i run prime95, the jmicron controller attached drives/dvdrw, are disabled (i wa hearing the windows sound for a device disabling, but it took me a while to notice what was getting disabled).

they came back after stopping prime. After a few start/stop cycles, it didnt get disabled.

pd: my previous oc settings are nowere stable now :P

i could mod it for you (i am quiet capable now thx to Ghz :p)

but i have no way to test it, nor can i take any responsability if something goes wrong. (i went ahead and started modding myself when i bought a 1tb drive to backup everyuthing i had on my raid 0, but at the same time, gigabyte included 1,20e on the latest bios for my motherboard :P )
