I use the exact same PCIE wifi for my Gigabyte Z87X-OC and Gigabyte Z97X-SOC Force and it works without any issue but now that I switched to a Gigabyte X99-SOC Force, it does not even post with it (Code 94: PCI Bus enumeration for detecting how many resources are requested). How the hell is even Gigabyte doing any QC. Both the amazon and newegg review state numerous problems with this board, I should have known better
ah dam ok let me know when a new one comes out please and what the current latest one is with all info is it still F7c ? got a link ?
also pm me if you could once a new one comes out though i think support for this board is pretty much finished now lol
I have download the 7c bios and it still crashes quite often. I had the 7a installed for a while and it was more stable than 7c. GA-Z97M-D3H - F7c. Crashes always is 124. I do not have time to manually remove here and there and test here and there... I know the BIOS itself is buggy is all I can say. Priot to even 7a it was even more stand. I am not sure what was removed or installed that is causing this exceptions and crashing. I changed to PCIE 2.0 still crashes with 7a or even 7c. After removing 7c > Reboot > reformat > installed 7.0 64 bit and 8.1 install.... same bloody problem. GA please do something about this. patience wearing thin.

I was a QA (more on code and UI) and testing was ridiculously rigorous. I feel the QA are not doing an exhausive test and more on random. If iterative testing or agile methodologies were employed.. some of the BIOS most basic functionality (stability) should have been a priority. Well I am sure everyone has something to say for anything... in fact most Mobos to some degree has the same problems..

Do gigabyte expect everyone with x79 mobos to flash and use beta bios'? the latest one on there site for g1assassin is beta and it must be flashed unless of course you don't plan on updating anything at all, I doubt ill ever go gigabyte after this, if wasn't so expensive I would of ditched this junk ages ago. Never worked 100% from day one, still hobbling along like a horse with a busted leg. Find my self more and more on my smartphone playing those type of games than playing games on my heap of pooh lol.
Did you know there policy is to only add the most popular purchased hardware for compat purposes, but wont add popular European company hardware. Go figure. Example: Crucial, one of the longest standing companies around with superb hardware.

I would purchase another good mini pci adaptor and add your qualcom wifi(if you are the dude with this minicard), I cant use any of my wifi adaptors at all with my x79 board, only one working is the mini adaptor card that came with it, luckily I had an old intel laptop dual wifi card I swapped out to get 2.4 and 5 bands, and man the range on that thing is amazing lol with the antennas the came with the mini adaptor.

I kinda feel your grief. There is plain no release BIOS for Ivy-E processors. Our Ivys require F13u or newer on my mobo. But seeing what goes on with GA's X99 boards, I am glad I decided to SKIP Haswell-E for now.
@rcarlos: It's like grabbing a straw when yer drowning, but have you tried to enforce Gen 2 or 1? Just for a test...might backfire on your graphics card but may shed light on the issue.
Z97-UD5H new beta bios F9g
What does it add, etc ?
Thanks
When did this appear? I don't remember seeing anything about it.
I'll try it out later.
Edit: OK I have it installed, can't really see any difference from F9f right off so I'm guessing it's for some kind of compatibility upgrade.
Runs my overclock fine.

Thanks for your reply. Maybe it's for Broadwell, who knows?
Thanks again
