Thanks Dino for offer.
I ask GBT only for Intel based BIOS's,so they give me access for that.As I am not so familiar with AMD boards,I prefer not to post.
2-3 months ago some of the member here willing to post AMD based BIOS's.I told him to open new thread and Lsdmeasap or another mod will put in sticky.
So guys, who willing to post AMD BIOS's,you have (two great guys) Lsdmeasap and dinos22 to help you.
Btw,sirioo
GA-EX58A-UD7(UD5,UD3R),should be X58A and thanks for mod.
Dino, can you connect him with a ongoing/current AMD BIOS source? If so I will pm him and see if he wants to post them here and keep them up to date like Stasio does.
New features in F6e bios for GA-X58A-UD5.. not sure what they do..
in advanced voltage control there is now: xDynamic Vcore (DVID) +0.00000V Auto <- is greyed out perhaps because of my manual settings
in Integrated Peripherals there is now: USB3.0 Port HI-speed Route [EHCI] and alternately [XHCI] <-- not sure but probably something like AHCI etc for HDD's
Also now in CPU-Z my timings don't read the proper settings that bios has. for instance in bios my ram is 7-8-7 and in cpuz it says 10-9-8
Dynamic Vcore allows you to run your default VID and then it boost vcore to what you set it to under load. So lets say your cpu's VID is 1.25 and you need 1.400v for a 4.2 ghz oc. with DVID you set your Vcore to normal (ie 1.25) then under Dvid you set it +0.15000. So VID 1.25+0.15000= 1.400v.
This can be tricky b/c with my cpu its VID is 1.26875 at Optimized defaults but at some point while OC. the bios sees it at 1.25000... I have tried f12 and all beta f13 and even did the crossflash to the extreme bios and did they same thing.
cool thanks.. I also noticed that now core temp doesn't display my VID. Also when my powersaving features like EIST and C1E kick in.. neither are reducing voltage any more.. just overall speed. I think I may go back to a different bios.
