      Re: copy and post bios??

No, lsd provides a template, and i saw a post where he explained how to do it. It's just a simple keyboard combo to copy that mit page and to post it here.
I've spent 2 freakin' hours looking for that post, but can't find it....grrrr

            Re: copy and post bios??

Yes, it is all done by hand and pencil. Then copy/paste in the forum and enter your settings.

If you have a 10 year old Printer the Print screen button will print right to the printer. However this may also save the Screenshot into the print buffer so you can print it into Wordpad, Paint or Any image Program via Edit, paste. I will go test this now, as I have not tried it in years. But still that would be a image, so same as taking a picture with your camera.

Asus used to include a File Called CMOS.EXE which would print the settings all to a txt file, but they have not included that for many years (And yes I looked, could not find you one)

            *EDIT*

No luck with my Print screen button, but I do not have a printer installed so the buffer may not be able to run to hold things?? Anyhow, just make it easier on yourself and copy one of these into a notepad or wordpad and then print them off. Then you can just go into your BIOS and write down the settings you are using and come post them. Be much easier that way as you would not have to write it all out, only your settings used. >>>

Monitor issue could be your PSU or GFX card, or your actual monitor.

Which Mushkin Model is this? These right 996523? Just wondered because of the Main timings you were using, Wasn't sure if you still had those sticks or not.

                  Re: copy and post bios??

These settings are pretty much the same as i have now. They are to get an oc of 3.7, which i have and am 10 runs of intelburntest and 1/2 hour orthos stable. 2 passes of memtest just to see if test 5 would catch anything glaring. I only ran orthos shortly to test other chipsets and subsystem. I thought you said i could get to 4ghz, and were going to post settings for that.

I'm sorry about the misunderstanding and for wasting your time, but we did talk about that. You probably forgot because you are so busy here. We talked about it in my monitor thread. I think i know what the problem with the monitor is.

The slot is only pci-e1.1 which only provides 75watts, the problem, and 2.5gb of bandwidth, (my card can't saturate this bus) :-), and 2.0 provides 150w from the slot, which my 2.0 card needs, and has a bandwidth of 5gb's . I already bumped the bus up by 0.1v, but this morning, it booted right up...wierd.

When i was testing my card with evga precision and ati tool, i had task manager up so i could see what the load my cpu was powering the card, and it was only 1/2 load or less. So there is no cpu bottleneck at load for the card. 3.7ghz is plenty to power my card.

So from reading different posts in different forums, i should be glad it works at all. I'll try bumping up the pci-e v a little more. But I can't even boot into windows with anything tighter than [email protected]. That's @ 3.6. To get to 3.7, i just had to raise it to 4-4-4-13 and raise voltage to what you gave me here. And oh yeah, the ram is same...mushkin #996523

The only difference is the setting with question marks are filled in, but like i said, i am very stable with the setting i am @ now. And i think all the testing i did with burnin helped the mx-2 to settle in, because my temps seem to be improving.

If you think you can give me settings to get to 4ghz, and have time to post them, that would be great, but seeing as how i am stable at 3.7, i'm not going to mess with anything. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? Thank's again for your time and help.

Nice to hear your monitor is behaving now!!!

Let us know about your overclock testing, You should be good with that cooler as I used a zalman 9700 and ran 4Ghz before just fine
