    Yes, It often only requires a very subtle change for the noise to go away as when the chokes are loaded very slighly differently it is enough to stop them "ringing" and causing us to hear that annoying sound.

    From what you have said it seems you have checked just about everything and short of an add-in card (such as a graphics or audio card) causing a major problem it sounds as though you could have a problem with the motherboard itself.
