Hey, I just got my 2x2GB G.skill sticks. Was forced to raise the MCH voltage to 1.3 or else I kept getting blue screens in games. Now I'm seeing 50 degrees on this "System" temperature. My question is what is that temperature a measure of? And is it safe?

What are you using to measure temps? Are you talking about idle temps? There are 3 primary temperature readings from the motherboard. First, from the cores themselves, then 2 from the board. We were discussing this on another thread...I believe one sensor is near the northbridge and the other near the cpu socket. I'm assuming "system" is the northbridge sensor. My runs at 41C idle - essentially constant. In any case, a constant temp of 50C seems high, but could depend on how you have the whole system overclocked. It is the Northbridge Temp. Did you try 1.2 or 1.25?
Yes, it is safe as long as you are under 65-70. What settings are you using? You may have had things set to tight is why you felt you needed 1.3, but maybe not. So just wondering so I could advise better
You could add a 40MM fan on the NB heatsink, or at least redo the thermal paste under there if you feel up to it. If you do, use NON conductive paste
Want to give me what you are using in the MIT, and I will see if I see anything that may have stopped you from using less MCH >>>>
