        Same setup and clock settings as me there....I managed to get 5109 this morning. I'm running the 9700Pro at stock speeds with Catalyst 3.4 and default settings. Also look at my sig for my memory timings running in sync with my FSB.

        {edit: June 02, 2003}

        With a little tweaking of the driver settings but still running the 9700 at stock speeds I hit 5189. So far I've clocked the 9700Pro up to 354MHz with no problems although I didn't benchmark it yet. I plan to keep working it higher first.

          • OK...this is my final score!! (for now :D )

            This is after tweaking the 9700Pro up to 360 core/ 320 mem. I really don't feel comfortable runing this thing at those speeds routinely so I backed off to default after the test. I was able to go a little faster but there was some artifacts. This score represents my best speed yet without any visual anomolies.

            • Well it's not much compared to you guy's with 9700's but, it put me in the top 5 for AMD based 9000pro's. You can compare it here if you want. Oh yeah, it's 1600.
              edit: You can make that top 10 now.:D

                    Unless you have one of these cards - you don't have hardware DX9 support :D
                    The radeon 9600pro now has direct 9x support and so do a few other cards.

                      • Bulldog_UK: RDR posted that information on the 12th of February, like the Radeon 9800, the 9600 wasn't available then.

                          • Apparently Nvidia is preparing to rejoin Futuremark's Beta Program, what a difference a few months make.

                                LOL that was damn funny! =)

                                But personally i wouldn't trust ATI any more at all, after all they did confess to have used a driver which lowered the graphics quality within Quake3 which was the most frequently used benchmark app at the time.. They promised never to do it again but ya can't be to sure about either of those companys.. :shrug:

                                :cheers:
