Your CPU score is fine, I got 7600 at 256fsb.

          • 277mhz FSB, 5:4 mem divider at 2-2-2-5, resulting in 3.32Ghz

BTW, the install is untweaked as far as services go, so I imagine I'll be able to tack another 100-200 points onto each one of them

*Ah also, the HD score was N/A as I just aborted after the CPU and memory, but it would have been around 1000-1100 as thats how it always scores

The numbers arn't that far apart, I know for a fact you won't get the same score every time.

                  • Yeah m8, the Video card isn't tested at all in PCmark2002, your score differences are just normal fluctuation. You never score the same

                        • I've yet to see a benchmark yet that will give the same result everytime, all will vary to a certain extent.

                          • Question

I usually score 1000-1100 HDD score. I see people with 2k or even 3-4k HDD score. Are these just SATA drives that kick the sh*t out of my IDE drives or am I missing something?

                            Comment

                            • The scores can very by as much as hundreds of point from test to test. Don't worry about it.

It could be that they simple have faster drives. It could also be the file system. For example, a compressed NTFS 80GB drive is going to score less than a 200MB FAT32 drive.
