Re: 890GX Pro 3 Video Problem
The PEI core message is nothing I can help you with (I know nothing about it), unfortunately. Hopefully the AsRock tech support folks can tune in on this thread soon and let you know exactly what that may mean, or if it just confirms our diagnosis. I think...

Re: 890GX Pro 3 Video Problem
Your manual for the board should have the information that will tell you what those codes indicate. I couldn't find them via Google and don't own an Asrock board I could cross-check with. Anyway, definitely doesn't sound like a PSU problem and since you...

Re: ASRock P55 Deluxe error code b8 and EA
Though I cannot confirm what the B8 code means, I found a thread at EVGA's forums where someone was getting the B8 code and ended up having to replace the board. Also, is your memory dual channel and if so what slots are they installed in? ...

Re: 890GX Pro 3 Video Problem
Also, if you have another system you can test the CPU in, that will confirm its either a motherboard or PSU problem, as a system will boot with no or faulty RAM.

What size/brand etc PSU are you using? Also, are you sure the board is screwed tightly to the standoffs?

Re: 890GX Pro 3 Video Problem
First off, when you turn it on, does it appear to come on (fans spin up, etc)?
What size PSU are you using? Do you get any beeps when you turn it on?
Try clearing the BIOS (either by jumper or removing the battery), and booting...

Re: X58A-UD3R - which SATA 6GB port to use?
Try using a PS/2 keyboard to get into your BIOS, otherwise flash it with an older version that you can verify is 100% stable. Sounds like your drive is toast, unfortunately, since it disappeared of its own accord and isn't a symptom of you flashing...

Re: Need help diagnosing problem
Removing your CMOS battery isn't going to fix this one I don't think. Do you get any POST beeps now, or just silence? Assuming you get nothing, the board is the most likely culprit.

Re: ASRock H67M-ITX throttles CPU speed prematurely. HELP!!!
This is purely speculation on my behalf, but I think that you are probably onto something with regard to the temperature sensor idea. The fact that no throttling occurred with a lower-powered CPU points to either a temperature...
