    Re: Remote Desktop

it depends on if you want people to control your computer remotely or you want to be able to do it yourself, both methods work.
the port forwarding method means that you don't have to send/wait for an invite

      Re: Remote Desktop

my method is w/o portfoprwading but a lil script modding so there wont be a wait for invite and response. Can anyone get into my computer or do they NEED an invite from me to get in?

        Re: Remote Desktop

the simple answer to that is yes - If a true hacker (not a script kiddie) actually tried to get in, they'd be in (as long as your connected to the net, they'll get in, but why would they bother?), however you should be safe from 99.999 % of people.

In theory they need an invite & it'd be more secure than port forwarding (of course that depends on how you do your port forwarding, firewall, vpn's etc)

        It'd stop me :D

Why don't you just check Remote Administrator v 2.2 out? It's a way better program :)
