if this was me I'd go out and buy (ok i already have) a 1 or 2 terrabyte usb drive and backup the entire D disk to the usb.
I'd then use Free Download Magic Partition Manager freeware: EaseUS Partition Manager, Disk & Partition Copy and Partition...

you'd be looking at a parallel port controller (printer port) usually around $13 - $25 bucks to setup but will require some electronics knowledge or a bit of googeling

its very easy to get around - the same software that works to enable you to download tv series as if you your in america will let you get past it - so already its a useless application - the only people it will affect are the morons out there, anyone who can use google...
