Hello all. I have two questions in regards to USB and USB devices.
In regards to USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 I have always thought that on most modern computers with built in USB slots, the USB 1.1 is on the left and the 2.0 is on the right (if facing the back of the PC tower) am I correct in making this assumtion or am I TOTALY off on this one! :P also if this is not the case, then do I have to purchase cards for my customers for them to access 2.0 capabilities.
My second question is:
two of my customers are expieriencing restarts on they're systems basically out of no where and only when usin USB devices. I believe that this is due to the fact that 4+ USB devices are connected to they're computers w/out a powered usb hub. once again am I correct in my assumtion or is they're computers power supply not powerfull enough to handle all these devices.
In either case I would greatly appreceate any input!
Thank you
