Mr Tweak: Don't worry, by the time I've finished AMD will be begging you to take one. :D Beefy: Thanks for doing the global forum announcement, hopefully people will get the message. TweakTown Members: Again thanks to everyone who's taken part so far, but we need more, much more, so if you own an AMD processor post the details here.
<CenteR> Let's show AMD that TweakTown Members take their products seriously, so they in turn should show us the same respect. Come on people don't make me start personal messaging you all individually.
If you refer to the reviews that I do regularly for TweakTown, you'll see that I am a dedicated AMD user. Though I am based in the US instead of Australia, I still work for this site. Too bad this company doesn't honor us the same way that we try to honor them.
But if you would like specifics as to processors, here we go:
AMD T-Bird 1000
AMD Athlon XP 1800+ (Palomino)
AMD Athlon XP 1700+ (Thoroughbred)
AMD Athlon XP 2500+ (Barton)
Old age and treachery will overcome youth and skill My Toys
AMD 200mhz - sold it (upgraded)
AMD 300mhz - sold ( upgraded)
AMD 400mhz - kids use it
AMD 500mhz - stripped and used for spares
AMD 800mhz - still have it., needs a motherboard though
current is AMD XP2000
the only intel I had was between the 800mhz and the xp2000. I damaged the bios on my 800's mobo and had to go out and find a computer store that was still open., I was forced to buy a 900mhz pentium., a few days later I went out and got the XP.
