Has anyone had a problem with decals turned on in the game halo while running a ati 9200 card all the bullet holes and explosions marks come up really bright or white

Read this HALO tweakguide , it is informative. I have tried halo on a r9200 before with ok looking results, a bit slow though. With the tweakguide, you can learn to overcome that. Some of the cheap 64bit r9200 cards can have issues with pixel shader 1.4
The guide shows how to run the game with ps 1.1
That may fix your problem and definately speed up the game as well.

Saphire Ati 9200 (it was cheap maybe thats my prob?)
Well ne way i was pricing a new video card 2day the 9200 is only one i bought to keep me going for a bit, i just built a new pc and didn't have enough money for a decent video card and all i had was an old TNT 1 so i bought the 9200 to keep me going prolly get a 9800 Pro or fx5950 soon ne way but i'd like to c if i can fix this problem till then.Comment
