Worth it?

I can get a PNY Verto GeForce FX 5900 for 140 after rebate at circuit city. Is this a good card? I can't find any reviews on it. Is it worth 140? Thanks

It's probably the value version, which I've heard isn't too good..

You don't want that version. That's the Lite one that uses slower mem chips and won't clock as high on the core.

How about price -vs- performance? For $140, if it is truly based on the FX5900 technology, isn't it worth it?

Some here ppl must remember that some others have very tight budgets to keep to (not everyone can burn $'s on a top end card) and IMO that should do very well for that price. My :2cents:

That and the fact that not everyone overclocks their cards, so overclockability isn't important to some people. ;)
