        Retail boxed parts:
        9700 Pro --------> $420 ($483 w/tax)
        AIW 9700 Pro ---> $476 ($547 w/tax)
        2500+ (Barton) --> $136 ($156 w/tax)

        If I get the 2500+ & the 9700Pro, it'll be $639 w/tax.
        If I get the 2500+ & the AIW9700Pro, it'll be $703 w/tax.

                I have never been to a computer store that could beat newegg for prices, speed, returns, service, or selection.

                  I'm not sure why, but I'd rather go to a store to buy my parts.
                  Maybe it's so that I can see the parts I'm buying.
                  Also I can compare other parts at the same time, talk to the sales person (not always helpful :blah: ), see what other ideas are possible (display setups), etc...

                  Not to mention that I live in Canada, so there's the exchange rate to consider.

                    Yea, most people start out that way, but eventually you will realize that your local stores have nothing to offer, except higher prices. Btw, if you buy from newegg, there would be NO TAX.

                    Figureing out what you want, and various configurations is what the internet is for, not some numbscull techie who is lying to you to get you to buy the more expensive one. Don't trust anyone who has an interest in your decision.

                    AND newegg is SO huge, I bet they have a special 'canadian checkout' feature. Give them a shot.... You will be amazed.
