    It's a USB. And yes, I loaded optimized defaults before I did my OCing.

        Oh. It happened after I disconnected it to make sure the paste and fan were down. Was working after OC.

          If you just load optimized defaults now, no OC, does the pronlem persists?
          If it's just when you use OC settings try one click up ICH Core/ICH/IO not sure which.

          EDIT: one click above the default value shown at the left.

              Have you tried different ports?
              I am assuming you are using rear ports.
              Have you ran chkdsk on them? Maybe it's worth tring the higher voltage anyway.

                Yes using rear ports. Tried different ports to no avail. Ran disk on them, says there are errors, supposedly fixed them but, guess not.

                  Also, what does the disk look like in disk management?
