Re: Help to setup Q9550 & GA EP43T-USB3 to the top!

Check actual applied tRD(Performance Level in MemSet, Static tRead Value in BIOS) with MemSet. If it is higher than 8 try to lower it manually for both channels in BIOS. Even 7 may be possible with your current memory/FSB settings.
A bit more MCH Core may be required.
You may test the differences in memory performance with , Everest Memory and Cache benchmark, or any other memory benchmark application of your choice.

MemSet can be found at http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte...ity-tools.html.

Static tRead Value is in BIOS under Advanced Timing Control -> Channel A/B Timing Settings, and has to be changed for each channel.

is just a benchmark to observe the results.
Lower tRD improves latency and increase read bandwidth a little, but may cause instability. More MCH Core (1.24-1.26v) may be required for lower tRD..

well,i ran whole memtest and was successfully completed, but dont know how to get the results ^^ Everything is stable :)

Did MaxxMEM bench before changing the tRD and after, results are nearly same :)
