1 question though!

forgive my ignorence but can sum1 plz explain whats mwan't be the CPU FBS/DRAM ratio?

the ... 3/3, 3/4..............6/4, 6/5..... after using me old A7N8X dlx I'm a little confused!

That ratio means the FSB speed to the RAM speed. For example, 1:1 would me the FSB and RAM run at the same speed. 5:4 means the speed of the FSB is five fourths more than the RAM, ex. 250FSB and 200Mhz RAM. The different ratios allow you to keep your RAM stock and your FSB pumped up, or vice versa. : peace2: Mista K6

I know what 1:1 means but what about the 4:4, 5:5, and 6:6?

after the different 5:5, 6:6 there a a different FBS so are you supposed to match the ratio with the FBS that your running?

The ratios are in multipules of 66 mhz, with the fsb first then the mem speed. So 4/5 is 4x66=266 fsb(yeah- computer manu maths)5x66= 333 ram. 5/5 is 333 fsb/ram, and 6/6 is 400 fsb/ram. The 3/3 is 200 fsb/ram, 4/4 266 fsb/ram etc.

You could leave it on auto but I never do.

As for the numbers after the ratios- I assume that your overclocking. I'll go into my bios later and have a look, but I think you must have clocked up your memory without changing the divider.

Is it ideal to keep fsb/dram ratio 1:1 then? They should run in sync correct?
