Those temps seem fine to me,but if your worried there are some things you could do...
If your game, take the heatsink off and replace the cheap while silicon paste with Artic Silver, etc.. You could check to see if the heatsink makes good contact with the core/ram, as some brands coolers...

Its probably not worth it to get a new mobo for AGP 8X, there is virtually no performance benefit.
However, if you've got a VIA chipset then you will gain a bit of performance from an nForce2 mobo, but I wouldn't get a cheap version when the good versions are only a little more, and arguably...

D'oH. It is a 70mm fan. I had always just thought it was a 80mm, and looking at one the other night it still looked like a 80mm. Then I second-guessed myself, pulled you the ruler and,... d'oh.
Guess my plan to stick a more quiet 80mm fun just got blow out of the water. Bugger!

I have tried to get a look at the Asus site to see this, but they have taken the A7V333 of it (all of them). I didn't say that wasn't possible to run 333FSB on, just that it wasn't possible to do it without overclocking. I don't know how they could possibly get the chipset to do something that it wasn't...

1. Oh, a 3000+ with 333FSB? How cool! I wants!! The 3000+ always came with a 333FSB (unless they released a 400FSB version, but I haven't seen one).
2. No, thats impossible. The Kt333 was only designed to do a 266 FSB, and thats all they can do without overclocking....

You can RMA it, its still well within warranty. You just can't return it. I personally think thats one of the reasons why Asus mobo's are so popular, the 3 year warranty. I would try to check everything before RMAing it in case its your memory/CPU/etc. Where are you? Maybe someone with an AMD lives...

Don't get a FX5700 ultra, the 5900XT's are about the same price and way faster.

Yeah, they suck. Just another reason why I won't touch another Asus motherboard.

Oh great, I just used to dislike VIA any now I the vitriol is really flowing.
But I have a problem with monotheism, and the track record of VIA isn't great.
Its not like it was just the Apollo chipsets that had a problem, the VIA VX pro+ (pentium MMX) chipset that I had was a headache,...
