** OC'ing a p4 2.53 on a Soyo dragon ultra platn mobo.

Hello there~!

I've had a p4 2.53 on a SOYO dragon ultra platinum mobo for a while and since I don't have the money, I was trying to OC this damn thing. The bios has a little normal/fast/turbo setting, and is set on turbo, but i was wondering if there were other things I could do to speed it up.

It has this Frequency 1MHz Stepping thing, but I have no idea how to use it, and the last time I messed with that, I had to jump the BIOS. What should I do to OC?

start adjusting your DRAM timings, using the manual. Reboot after each change and make sure you don't get a BSOD.
Then start your freq stepping

Here, have a read of this and even though it is based on PII's and PIII's the principles are still pretty much the same for your setup.
