If i tried two different drives and couldn't see either, then I begin to suspect the cable.
As mentioned earlier, have you tried the drive in another computer?...

Had it for over a year now, good stuff. Since then, I've noticed that there are other VOIP deals out there even cheaper than Vonage, but I haven't really checked into them.
I hear that Vonage customer support is a real pain, but I've never had to use...

The cheapest and quicker way would be to buy an addon card, plug it in, plug your ATA devices in, boot up.
I've been using one for years on the computer I use for video edits, haven't had any problems yet

Your DVD burner supports both (-) and (+) DVDs. So, all you have to do is rip your DVD+R movie to your computer then burn it to a DVD-R blank. The (-) and (+) refers to two different format types of DVDs

I go with Darthtanion, two cards work best for me and I'd much rather have a PCI version than a USB input.
It's also better if you have two harddrives, one to capture to and one to render to. May not amount to much, but I like to have them on...

Sounds like you've been pegged. Are you running an antivirus program and are you beind a firewall? If so, are they upated?
For a start, I'd download SpyBot, install it and run it, see if that takes care of the problem. If that fails, get HiJack...
