        THIS IS HUGE!!!!!

        3DMARK2001SE RESULTS ON MY PNY GeForce4 Ti 4200

        SCORE WENT FROM A PREVIOUS HIGH OF 10,649

        TO 11,321 on the first run! An increase of 672 points!!!

              How did they make such a big difference? Was it optimised for that benchmark do ya' think. I guess if your card isn't ready for market, it is an interim type of solution.

                  I got a 1000 3DMark increase from the drivers as well... :)

                    Most significant increase I've ever seen with a simple driver change. The new interface is interesting as well. The screen rotation is awesome.

                        I was just looking at these drivers. I FTP'd them home so once I get a chance, I'll install them and let you guys know what it gives me.

                            I looked at the Mad Onion site and they are running a poll on this and most people are reporting 500 - 1000 point increases but about 10% have decreases so it's not for everyone. Ti 4200 - Ti 4600 appear to have the most benefit.

                            Went back and scientifically tested but only raised the score to 11,330 (from 11,321 on the first run). Must have guessed close to the max to begin with.

                              I know that 3DMark is just a benchmark, but's it's fun goofing around trying to get the score higher and higher. With any luck these dets will be the key to my success.
                              I remember when 10,000 3DMarks was drooled at. :laugh:
