I kept hearing about people having modded drivers to run 7xxx geforce cards in SLI on intel chipsets. So i was just wondering if anyone has gotten around to modding the drivers to support the 8800 series in SLI on Intel x38 chipsets.

Re: SLI on an Intel x38 mobo
No. It is impossible since Nvidia basically has it locked out completely for the 8-series and newer cards.GIgabyte GA-990FXA-UD3

Re: SLI on an Intel x38 mobo
Yeah, for now it is impossible. People have modded the drivers and even after rebooting the systems still look for other things to verify SLI compatibility and do not allow SLI. Believe me, I have been looking for this fix myself for 1 year +.GIgabyte GA-990FXA-UD3
