Re: Can't connect to internet after BIOS flash
Helpful post. Thanks for the help jfk&g. I have a strange problem that results in no internet connectivity and hopefully this will help.
I sent my MOBO in for an RMA after a bad BIOS flash. When I got it back, it has...

Re: OC Help: 3.58GHz Q6600 & EP45-UD3P
I agree with godt0, MCH voltage could probably be bumped up to help stabilize your system. I would find a stable MCH value and then actually drop your vcore slowly to find the min voltage if you can. You don't want to be over volting if...

Re: Lost xfire support after BIOS update
Nice job Mcgiver. I tried to put F1 back in and now my board just cycles on and off trying to post. I cleared the CMOS with no luck. Any way out other than an RMA?

Lost xfire support after BIOS update
Hey has anyone experienced this before? I was rocking out the F1 bios for the x38-DQ6 mobo and just now got around to updating to F3. After I did it, I notice A - I don't have xfire support now even though it is running in CCC. And B - my system is slower. My superPi results are a lot slower now...

Re: Gigabyte vs ICH9R SATA controller: Which is best?
Hmmm...interesting....sounds like it won't matter then. I have heard some mixed comments about it compared to the Intel controller regarding RAID but nothing on the old skool SATA. More than likely there won't be a difference but...

Gigabyte vs ICH9R SATA controller: Which is best?
I don't fully understand the benefits to using the Gigabyte (GSATAII) controller over the southbridge SATA controller other than freeing up the southbridge for other operations. The board is a GA-EX38-DQ6 and I plan on having two SATA HDDs without RAID. I am geared up to use the GSATAII controller...
