      hey maximus, the barton are at those temps, they are very cool, i have 2 other friends that have bartons, and they run at about the same temps as me

        they may run cooler than the older processors (the tbird and pali) but they still run hot

        my mobo is readin 46C with my barton 2500 at 220x10 2200mhz 1.725v
        my old pali 2000 read 50C at stock with the same cooler on the same mobo

          try to change the thermal pad/grease, it can help A LOT !

            Barton 2600Xp are way hotter. Mine at Stock setting with a SLK-900U with 80mm fan runs at 40C and 45C under load. Its impossible for me to even get 35 on idle unless I put in an air conditionner. I used to have a 1800XP, 1.5V and it was 33C idle and 40C load with the same slk-900 and ambiant temps. So Bartons do run hotter.

              i have a barton 2600+ overclocked at 3000+ and i juste played a game for about an hour and its now at 35 celcius :D
