  • Do you recommend GIGABYTE Graphics cards?

    I'm thinking about getting Gigabyte ATI Radeon HD 7850 but i'm a bit hesitant by the name of its brand Gigabyte as I couldn't find a single video of Gigabyte 7850 on youtube. No reviews, no unboxing or gameplay videos. All videoi that I see are of Sapphire 7850 which is not available here.
    Thanks :)

    Unfortunately this is a common occurrence with many recent posts where hardware recommendations are wanted.

    Well, Gigabyte, in general, I highly recommend. As far as GPUs go, my general rule of thumb has been;

    *nvidia-evga
    *amd-xfx

    I finally gave up on evga as a company. I have not been happy with their customer service regarding motherboards and general support. When I was in the market for a new GPU, I decided to give Gigabyte a try. I have never had issue with their products, in general. They have a great customer service staff, that is always willing to help. Also, they had the strongest available single GPU available at the time, at a killer price on the egg.

    Posting a link to the model you are considering would be helpful.

      GPU's are less prone to issues vs. motherboard from my readings. I have all EVGA GPU gear here... no AMD's in operation.

      Vin

      OS = Win10-64Bit
      CPU = Ryzen 1700x Overclocked to 4Ghz with custom water-cooling loop

        If you could go with EVGA then do it, I had problems with Gigabyte cards before and I never faced any with EVGA.
