Have you tried clearing the CMOS, then enter the bios and select "Load Optimal Settings" then restart and see what happens?
if that fails, pull the battery for 24 hours and see what it does after that....

If you hit 80 degrees, I wouldn't change a thing. If you can keep your loaded temps in the 60* range then you have room to play. Right now you don't.

I would had tried "Loading Optimized Defaults" first. re-boot go back in the bios to set your Drive settings (IDE/AHCI/RAID etc...)
and then see what would had happened then
To see the error go to the tiles...
