  • Gigabyte Motherboard Suggestion Needed.

    Hi I am having trouble finding a motherboard That is dood with Windows 7.

    I have an AMD Phenom X4 9850 Socket AM2+.

    Can anyone recommend a sure fire winner?

    Giga board compatible with Windows 7 and the AMD I have?

        AM2+ motherboards are no longer sold new and AM3/AM3+ boards will not accept your 9850 so anything you'll be looking for is used so you'll have to do your own research. I'd look in the AM2+ section of gigabytes website; GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket AM2+

        then find a board or two thta you like and then start searching ebay or other buy'n'sell sites until you find a board that'll work for you. but there isn't a board that I can recommend that is that old unfortunately. my AMD experience started with AM3.

          dunno m8,but I kinda expect some support for a product once it's sold,gigabyte offer no support at all,leave it to bought supporters to tout there product,not good enough :(
