With my board/bios/cpu at 4.5ghz cpu and uncore left at 34x in windows I see a 40x uncore with GTL2.0 and 4.0ghz uncore on memory tab in cpuz. That is also with running ram at 2200mhz.
OK. I didn't check that, I just manually set uncore same as clock. Right now I'm back to stock until I get a better handle on the OC process.

ive heard uncore be lower than one below cpu multi
around 23x for 40x cpu multi
I heard lower or equal to cpu speed.
Also noticed system will boot with ram at 2400 but in windows cpuz shows 1600 and default memory timings. GTL2.0 shows 2400 but does not show timings as of yet, new version should.

Wonder if anyone can give me some guidance. I have managed to get a 4.6 & 4.7Ghz OC to pass 30 mins on OCCT in LinPack mode, with 90% memory usage and AVX LinPack Capable enabled, then after that ran AIDA64 for 3hrs 40mins and it all passed fine!!!. Now after 4 minutes of video encoding with RipBot the system crashes!!, the BSOD code is 0x124 according to WhoCrashed program.
Im currently using the 4,7GHz oc which CPU-Z reports a voltage of 1.260, in the bios im using a CPU Offset value of +0.150 i have tired upping this all the way to +0.175 which CPU-Z reports a voltage of 1.305v!!!!, and yet as soon as i start to video encode the PC BSOD within about 15 seconds, the strange thing is it would seem the more ive upped the CPU Offset value the quicker the PC BSOD, it lasted longer encoding at the lower volts of +0.150 CPU Off set, any ideas on why its BSOD at higher voltages quicker than at lower volts??
These are my BIOS settings for my 4.6 OC........
ive just upped the CPU Clock ratio, uncore ratio and Turbo ratio on all cores by 1 value and also changed the CPU Offset to +0.150v for my 4.7GHz
...same thing happened to me. I kept upping the voltage to run IBT x45 and it kept crashing, except I wasn't using offset. I just figured it was over heating although it happened so quick I couldn't see it happen...... not sure if Gigabyte finally set the bios where temp will shut down the board or not? I know on IB it wouldn't.....

Maybe need more vcore? My cpu sucks for not haveing HT it needs 1.31v for 4.5 and 1.4v for 4.6 and I tried upto 1.525v for 4.7 and it still crashed. Hope I can find a better cpu today at MC.

Nah i dont think its temp related as it never get above 65c before it BSOD, as the video encoding isnt putting 100% load on the cpu RealTemp reports about 50-60% Load, which again makes me wonder why its BSOD, as ADIA64 and OCCT were putting much more stress on the CPU than what Ripbot does when i start encoding with it
well if its the same as ivy in controlling the cpu memory controller stock 1.05v wont be enough for 16gb,it wont adjust on auto you have to manually set it
im only guessing mind, I don't know haswell, certainly wouldn't hurt to test with 1.10v,put back to stock/auto if it doesn't improve stability
is that lettuce? sorry just realised

how much ram? is cpu ring voltage same as cpu/vtt on ivy?
@ace hyper threaded chips tend to be the better clockers tbh, seem to need less volts
Thats what I am seeing also. I figured since I disabled HT on my 920, and 3770k I would save the $100 can get the i5. But now I am thinking of getting the i7 tonight.
